My priority date will become current on June 1st 2011. I will add my wife to green card process on June 1st 2011 (she is in US in H-4 status now). My I-485 is with Texas processing Center.
If I leave my sponsoring (green card) employer after 3-4 months of getting my green card and join another employer or have my own company, does it affect my wife's green card that may be still in process

I think this should be termed "still bad news for most"
Every with the opening up of priority dates, I would say that only a small minority will get a green card anytime soon!
Back to work for us, the brief vacation was nice :)

Both for me and wife card production was ordered but my EAD (primary applicant ) is not yet received. my wife got hers last friday 7-16-2010.
Should I be concerned? What if the postal service missed/lost it?

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that a new version of the Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card (Form I-90), is available on the USCIS website. The new version of the form is dated 8/10/09 and contains more user-friendly features.
Applicants may file Form I-90 electronically (through e-filing), or through the mail to the USCIS Phoenix Lockbox facility.

There is no issue what-so-ever using AP to enter US. I don't know why you are mixing H1 with AP. Both are different. AP is just a travel Document that can be used to travel abroad and return to US. Does not matter if you have a H1 or not.

I was born in Canada and moved to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. I was naturalized when I was 18 (4 years ago). I heard that when naturalized in the U.S, my Canadian citizenship was not lost (I never filed any paperwork with the Canadian government stating I wanted to give up my Canadian citizenship either). Is this true?
If so, can I apply for a Canadian passport? Should I do this? Are there any responsibilities/problems/repercussions that could occur if I do this?

I am one of the ones who had missed the July 07 boat. My PD is finally current.
My attorney is getting ready to file all the items (485, EAD, AP etc) tomorrow.
How soon can I expect the FP Notice?
Also, since I am applying only now, how long before I can hope to see Green?

As the article stated there are 47 million latinos and majority of them are citizens.....we don't have that kind of numbers to make an impact on either party.
