I am happy to report that the USCIS has approved the P-1B visa application that I filed on behalf of Superman is Dead (http://www.supermanisdead.net/), an Indonesian band, that will be appearing on Warped Tour �09 (http://www.warpedtour.com/warpedtour/index.asp).

Great news! The Hatch widows bill (which removes the requirement that a couple must have been married for two years before a US citizen dies) passed and included in that bill were provisions extending the religious worker green card program and the Conrad 30 J-1 physician waiver program. Each of these programs were extended for three years. The EB-5 regional center program for immigrant investors was permanently reauthorized by the Senate yesterday. The House must agree to these amendments before they go to the President and I do not yet know whether the bill will go back to the House...

Hi

I am currently working on my H1 for comapany A. They have filed my Labor on Dec-06 in EB-3. I have an approved I-140 and I-485 is currently pending.

I have got an offer from company B. They want me to switch on EAD and they said they will also file my H1 and i can then move back on H1.

My question is if i switch the company on EAD, can i switch back to H1B in new (Company C) or same company (Company B) and if so can i then swtich to EB-2 by filing new Labor and 140 using the same priority date.

Hey everybody, My friend have a situation. He is from Haiti and he been in the USA since 1998 on a visitors visa but stayed. Graduated school, but couldn't do nothing else because of his papers, he lived with his sisters and they didn't work on it. Had a little situation in 2007 where he left the scene of an accident because he didn't have papers. They called it a felony, and now the (TPS) came around and he got denied because of that felony. He doesn't know where or what to do, don't have money for lawyers because he cant work. Anybody out there been there that knows what to do please feel free to do so. GOD bless

Guess what.... the EVM electronic voting machines! get rid of that first go back to ballot papers, see who wins and who looses and how people of India are enlightened about the politics. Please help me, married a us citizen right after 3 months I have my green card in 08 we got into a fight and she divorced me 2 months later and finally decreee june 2008. we are back together and live in the same house hold and in feb 2010 when my green card expire and I need to file to remove the condition, I dont know what I or we need to do?? is this the better way is for us go down to court house and get married again? we still have banking account together and bill together>
Please let me know what is the best for my situation.

I guess no complications unless USCIS asks for employment verification at the time of approving the case. He should continue to file for Income tax retrun for 2010 and also need to work for few months in 2011 to file for return.

I see thread for all other years (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007). So its my turn to open thread for my year.

Mine is EB2, Feb 2002. Still waiting. I was told that my NC is cleared.

3 SR, 2 letters to Ombudsman, letters to 3 senators, letters to 2 representatives, 2 fax to NSC, 2 letters to NSC Director, 1 infopass, numerous calls to NSC

Recently sent a letter to first lady. Looks like all of them are working together. Nobody wanted to respond.

Please feel free to write your experience if you are 2002 filer.

The case status message for mine and my wife's EAD changed to Card production ordered. It did not change to Approval notice sent. I received the EAD cards within 1 week of the Card Production e-mail. However my lawyer received the Approval notices (wife and mine) first week of October.

Hello Folks:

Sorry for this new thread. But I need help in interpreting the information that I got when I went to Local Office.

My I485 is in Locak Office and it was transferred to the San Jose office after we had our interview in Boston back in October 2005.

When I spoke with the officer (not IO) he said that quote:

" Priority Date
AUA 1 or / 7/1/07
I 485 Forward to 245 Unit "

What does this mean? Can you guys help me understand what he is trying to say. I mentioned that we are already interviewed.

If you have a phd, is it automatically EB1? or do the rules of employment should call for phd apply?

Remember the rule of thumb nothing is automatic when comes to immigration.

Hi,

I want to know if i can get a GC without the labour filing. I am currently on L1A visa, but i came into US initially on H1B visa. Given below are the details

H1B petition approved on: 10/01/2005
Entry into USA on H1B : 04/23/2006
L1A petition approved on : 09/23/2008

Different people tell me different things, some say i will still be considered as H1B and hence have to go through labour filing since i entered USA in H1B status. Some say since my current visa is L1A, i qualify for EB1 category and hence labour is not required and i will get the GC in 6 months. Not sure what is true.

please let me know

I applied for my EAD and AP extension on AUG 17 2009 and my EAD was expiring on AUG 29th 2009. While my wifes EAD and AP got approved, I had an RFE as I had not sent the recent photographs so I sent that and the receipt date for that was OCT 9 2009.

I continued working and got paid, after speaking to friends I realized, getting paid on a Expired EAD is not right.

I have taken a infopass to discuss this with USCIS to get an update.

One more point I wanted to make was that my payroll company doesn't know about this and doesn't care. But if I bring it up then .they might immediately terminate my employment.

How do I fix this? Please suggest.

Fill 131 form, attach a cover letter and AP - you dont need to include the fee as it is a USCIS mistake. Call USCIS 800 number or take infopass appointment before you refile.

Does any one know what is the process if we get wrong name in AP.? as I did get spelling mistake by uscis.
