When you use EAD it does not matter if the company got any money under the TARP program or not.

You should not even bring this to the attention to your HR. Go and use EAD as if the company is just any other company, make sure that the job is "same / similar" and get a lawyer for using AC21 portability.

@Kirupa: Not live tiles, but selection tiles (thumbnails) -- square boxes with text and maybe an image . They are use in panoramic applications instead of a list box.

You should do a video tutorial on creating the different elements of a panoramic app, i.e., the listbox, selection tiles (thumbnails), and a listbox with text+image(on the left). I think the xbox hub is a great example.

I have applied for my PERM Labor Certification on Aug, 6th'07. My status online shows "IN PROCESS". DOL called my employer's contact to verify submission on Aug, 15th'07.
My Lawyer states that rather than preparing for I-140 / I-485. I would be best served in working on preparing a response to the audit that will be coming, because of the Spanish language requirement.
Is he just getting ready for a "just-in-case" audit...? Should I prepare the I-140 and deal with the audit on the 30-days if DOL sends the Audit letter? How long would it take to receive this letter?

I have a question regarding dependants. I have a L1A Visa. I am going on a long trip to UK next month. Can my dependants stay back for 2 -3 months before joining me in UK. Their L 2 Visa and I 94 are valid till Feb 2009.

only the photo-copies of all the documents they mentioned, each page notarized.

I got PIO card in exactly a week and I live in North west Ohio close to MI border.

I am resident of CA and have my I140 application approved from Nebraska. My I485 application was filed in TSC. Is this a issue since according to USCIS, CA residents should file in the NSC. Will my I485 will be rejected because of this issue.

I am currently on H1B through company A previously I was working for Company B before that was working for Company C.

I transferred my H1B from C->B->A, Because of current Economy now my employer(Company C) is saying that if I lose my current project at client location he is going to cancel my H1.

If that happens can I go back to B Or C company, as My previous companies never cancelled my H1.

Appreciate any help here.

The early retirement of US Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) has opened up an appointment opportunity for Governor Charlie Crist, himself a candidate for Martinez's seat. I received RFE that says" your application contained form I-693 in which the required TB skin test was not conducted. Please note there may be conflicting information on some published form I-693 instructions regarding when the chest X ray Report should be performed. It is required only when the TB skin test indicates a reaction equal to greater than 5 mm, or when the reason for why the TB skin test is medically inappropriate to perform has been annotated on theform I-693. Please submit a newly completed form I-693 indicating the results of the required skin test."

I did TB skin test in 2007 that came negative and it appears to me, civil surgeon did not updated results on I-693 form. After consulting with the doctor they filled up new I-693 from with 2007 test results and gave me in a sealed envelop. I need to know whether 2007 results will be acceptible to USCIS or do I need to do it gain before I submit response. Please advise.
